Description
San Diego Comic Con is almost upon us once more! Sadly, once again I won't be able to make the trip. But Satellite Soda will of course be occupying relevant space!Be sure to stop by at booth #1634!
This here illustration is based off of an idea for part of the story involving the SatelliteSoda characters, which is still being developed. Not sure if this particular scene will ever make the cut, but it's basically a Missile (the character floating in the front), observing multiple Badfunks (or one big one?) making their way through a solar system.
Done in Photoshop.

Excellent work. Seems to have a Lovecraftian touch as well... or maybe it's just me seeing that into it. anyway.

Nah you're not the only one to mention it, so it probably does haha. I must say I never read anything by the man, but his vision seems to have permeated popular culture in more than one way so it's likely that's how I picked up on it.
Thanks!

I'm not sure you'd find the actual pieces to your liking. It may be worth giving them a try, but some find them too slow for this day and age. Nonetheless, you're right: his literary/imaginary influence is felt everywhere. And I like that.

I'm actually not, no. I'd certainly like to, but to be honest I haven't really tried to break into that industry at all. Probably a couple years down the line or something. :]

I'm flattered you'd think that, but it's more an issue of just how badly you want it...

Wie schaffst du es nur die vielen Details in das Bild zu bringen, gefΓ€llt mir wieder sau gut!
Was fΓΌr brushes benutzt du?

Das bild is einfach mal fast nen Meter groΓ (also, die Datei).
