The detail on this is amazing. I love it!
I've done two vector art pieces and the lines are always straight and the corners are very sharp (That was what I was intending to do in both pieces), never so smooth and pretty to look at. I use illustrator as well. Do you use the curved pen tool or do you just make a lot of anchor points and use the direct selection tool to smooth them out? I'm curious about what your method for vector art.
