Great work! The cloud-riddled sky, the tricky detail of the tree, the space in the foreground, the cold of the snow/ice on the water surface vs. the warmth of the tall grasses in the background... AMAZING!

I sometimes go walking through the hallways of practice rooms at the Conservatory of Music here (there are something like 150 here). And the sound, it's complexity, and hell, even the noise, can overwhelm. Yet at times, as i walk, my ear picks up a subtle, simple, beautiful sound. Was it a cello? A flute? A bar of a Debussy arabesque? Whatever it happens to be, it captures me for a moment.
There's a growing cacophony of (sound, complexity, noise... fill in the blank) on this site. Even in my own 'watch' list. I always appreciate and look forward to the beauty and simplicity of the scenes from the world that you see. This instance is no different.

This is such a beautiful, peaceful scene. The colors are so nice, and the shadow of the tree on the frozen lake adds so much to it, as does that sky. Your getting lost sure produced a gorgeous photo! Good job!

I really like the colours in this, they're so rich. As for the composition ? It's really well done. I like how you framed the tree in the shot as well as all the other scenery. That shadow really adds that special something to this shot.

I think that sums up quite nicely how I feel about this piece. My favourite West Coast photographer/songstress at it once again. The colours in this photo are fantastic. Looks very much like a scene you would see in a New Brunswick winter.

Interpretation/Review: Sunshine on the left side of my cheek as I stood here watching the clounds go by, above me. Love the brightness, sharp and clear, where it feels as if the day will be sweet and blissful. The shadow casting of the tree on top of the snow, on the still froozen lake bed. Where the ice is slowly melting off for spring is coming.
Pros/Cons/Suggestions: Good work.
