That's a brilliant drawing, right there. (I don't care if it's old, I'm still commenting. 
The shading is very well done, the texture is spot-on, and I love the rain and smudge effect. I mostly like his pose, though - we never see his spines spike up like that. (Unless that's the wind...)

Pretty hefty drawing skill you've got there. I like the detail with his colored eyes. you've managed to color them without making them steal all our attention. Cause the rest of the picture is just as awesome as the colored eyes. Keep up the good work.
