Okay, I'm going back now to continue Maladyne's story arc in Web of Betrayal.

Maladyne sighs, feeling the tingling of the venom on her fingertips and palm, up her arm, and then in her ears as if the field of thought between them were filling with whispering voices. “Yes, it is well done.”

As the voices grow louder, Maladyne’s mind drifts from the vista magically captured in the mirror’s surface. Like thawing ice the voices trickle down a stream and into a new spring lake of consciousness, bubbling with new life and energy in the young sunlight. This transition into a waking dream is one legacy of the training as a sorceress--many hours of practice on the fringes of consciousness braced by magical scaffolds in the mind to erect a “self” within the liquid thought of the Guardian’s venom. Without it, she would have no voice of her own, and the fluid would work on her as a poison bringing about its change to mind and body.

But Maladyne’s self speaks with power and will here, floating on the surface of the dream like a fishing boat on the spring lake, allowing her to cast, hook, and draw what she may from the water.

This 180-degree camera rotation is something I've done a few times, most recently in the Callista-tied-on-horseback sequence a couple of months ago, thumbnailed below.

I hope people are weathering the current situation well, and that those who are suffering can get the help they need. Again, I'd like to encourage everyone to be a bit more understanding and tolerant than ever, and I mean myself as well, in viewpoints and communications.
