I watched the new episode yesterday and I was like pinks my fave diamond, tbh I understand why she acts like that, if your treated like a child you're going to act like one too.It doesn't help that the other diamonds seem to belittle her and she most know herself that she is a "defective" diamond. That self hatred also could be the cause of acting out.

Unfortunately, thisΒ is expected from what we learn from their society and how it functions, so the poor girl didn't had much to say in the matter until she faked her "death" in front of her family, who truly loved her without her knowing it fully, cause much heartache and loss to everyone that know her.Β

That's exactly the impression I got from her. Pink's outburst isn't necessarily the result of being spoiled. Gems are born knowing what their position and purpose is from the very beginning. Now imagine being denied that purpose by those who are supposed to be closer to you than anyone else. She must have felt completely worthless, and unlike human society, there was literally no other place for her to belong.
