Still quite a bit of snow on the ground in areas here. But, 53ΒΊ today with rain tonight...ought to melt a good bit of it away! I enjoyed it while it was Winter. But, now it's time for it to go!

agreed. though i think this summer is going to be a really hot one- our past summers were surprisingly mild (between 75 and 90. usually its between 85 and 105)

I am sooo jealous! The ocean's about an hour from where I live. I probably only get to the ocean three or four times all year. But, there are five lakes right around me. So, I go to the lake often. Some weeks I go every evening after dinner.

thats nice. i mean, the ocean water hardly gets above 60 degs F so its usually very cold. i dont go swimming often, but sometimes i do. although just about every time i go to the ocean, i end up getting at least my sneakers soaking wet haha (even in the middle of winter)

Same up here. The ocean water is always cold! Some days when it's really hot, the water in the shallows and near sand bars can be..warm? And it's nice to swim.
But, if I'm going to swim in cold water, might as well spend five minutes getting to the lake rather than an hour getting to the ocean.

haha yeah. and yeah the shallows are usually pretty warm. its when you have to go scuba diving that its a bitch cuz of the cold. and the ocean in the tropics is freakin amazing

eh there is no real reason. ive just nvr gotten around to it. and ive been to the turks and caicos and florida. the water there is so warm- ive been snorkeling there but at the end of sr year, i'm going back to turks and caicos with my bro sis and dad and will go diving there
