Hi,

Thanks for the link! There is a strong resemblance, but no, the art I based this drawing on was more manga-like .
The name in my description is correct and was posted a long time ago (which is why the link is now apparently broken again >_<). Of course I don't know what Inukai used for inspiration...

Very good. He definately looks furry and I love the perspective, it gives the drawing depth and makes your eye move away from the focal point(his head). Inside his mouth you could probably put more teeth and not have the right-hand side of his mouth colored in completely, it should look as open as the other side, this way his mouth doesn't look like its got a big black form inside it. The value changes are great, but they don't need to be outlined, it actually hurts the drawing more than helps it. The tail could be a bit longer and the claws/nails a bit sharper/pointier.

Overall, fantastic job. I love the whole thing, and it is definately a
