A Kai / Kim Jongin eye appreciation piece.Due to the flood of tumblr pictures of this boy and his perfect eye make up from MCountdown. Ugh... like just.. Ugh.

yeah, I spent my morning nearly crying over the new pictures and the performance from Mcountdown... I whipped this piece out because I had to channel my feels somewhere. lol.

I just get very fixated. Once I begin one, it's unlikely that I'll put it down (unless I have to wait for something to dry) and otherwise I'll work on it for 2-3 hours until it's done (or more depending on the complexity) This piece was somewhat tiny though, not quite half a page so it wasn't too bad. Β

is ink hard to work with to paint realistic?
& ahhhhh, I start too many drawings at one time

I like making outlines and pushing the contrast with the black ink, but if you get the non-waterproof ink you can fade it out and create grey tones, like with watercolor so it's not so bad... I've only done 3 portraits using my non-waterproof ink. But, I think the ink also forces me to create a somewhat styled look so that I don't drive myself too crazy trying to be photographic.

You walking along the sidewalk on a nice warm but slightly cold evening; taking in the sounds of the resting day. Blinking slowly, you stumble into something.Β
"Ah Mian~" A strong soft hand, envelopes yours and another helps steady your flailing body.
"Wo!" You nearly shriek, before gaining your balance back.
Looking at the hand in yours, and slowly looking up *Camera zooms in and the film slows down as the wind blows your hair off of your delicate face*
"Mian...hae ~ " The word left his mouth.
You stood there in a daze, staring at him; captivated by his sparkling eyes. Thinking to yourself, how at this hour, could someones eyes, sparkle so charmingly. How can those dark orbs that belong to~Β
"Are you okay miss?" he shook you from your trance "My name is Jongin and yours?" he kissed your hand smiling at you, showing teeth slightly.Β
"Uh... uhhummm...Teryn~"
"Nice to meet you Teryn "
His eyes flickered with something, and you just couldn't believe anyone could be this stunning!
