How good is your camera?

What do people look for in a camera? And what does names of cameras have to do with how good they are? I'm a bit clueless about that...

well, you might of heard of it before.... and you can type it into google to get every spec on them. well l810 and d7000 is a 16.2 megapixle camera. l810 have a 26X optical zoom. it can shoot 720p hd movies whilst my d7000 can shoot 1080 full Hd. ummm it's just a epic camera overall

mmmm I have no idea, I was about say are you letting the camera focus at all, because if you are too close and if it's not on macro then it's gonna be out of focus, but that's still really expensive. why is it only 6MP though? that's weird....mm..... I don't know. when did you get that camera?

Yeah, I have to remind myself about that a lot. My parents say it has to do with the fact that my camera is older, maybe 5 years old... (Mine vs yours: $600 difference, yours has 16 Megapixels vs my 6, and yours has 26x zoom compared to my 12x...) Now I really need a new camera. xD Sad thing is I like my camera, especially the way it's built and everything.
