I love the composition and cropping of this - there's so much harmonious movement and texture going on, and I love the arrangement of the colours. Simultaneously, my eye is drawing in and out with the receding and pushing arrangement of the ends of the blocks of wood, and is moving around with the whorl-like patterns on the surface of the wood, and then is drawn back and forth between the red and that wonderful browny-grey. There's such a beautiful softness about it too with that wonderful patina of the wood. This is great! The amount of detail in fullview is almost overwhelming but in a very good, organic sort of way. At first glance it looks like it could be brick, close up ... the circular patterns, the weathered look, just awesome. Great work.
