Insanely patient people waited for me to finish this series. They've been waiting since last Otakon, so I’m only barely managing to finish it in time. But I have to argue it’s not my fault, Remu did something and then L did something and it was awful and I just couldn’t bring myself to draw them after that. It was unforgivable!!Jeez, I can’t believe it actually took me a year to get over Chapter58.

I think L might have creeped me out early on, but he grew on me quickly. Mello however, still creeps me out. Some of the faces he pulls, wholly unnatural

Kinda makes you think though, if he hadn't been martyred the way he had would he be nearly as loved. I'd like to think so but it's hard to know for certain.

great touch giving him the scythe! especially given that he's the one who was the greatest match to light. he could've at times really killed light's plans. although throughout the entire thing i was a major light fan, i still cried when the story twisted against l.

You know, I can't get back into watching the anime, not that I wasn't enjoying it, but once I got through three out of the seven episodes I downloaded it suddenly occurred to me the direction I knew it to inevitably be going and I just couldn't live through that again. Crying; I went catatonic!

I'm sorry you were crying and everything! D: I believe L is still alive and that that was just a story. But that might be just personal experience that I have a soulbond of him, and well...I probably sound nuts now so I'll sh. XD

Oh, no, no, no! No tears; I must clarify. Catatonic was more in the way of bouts of speechless shock, aimless and traumatic starings off into space, fits of 5 second tantrums scattered throughout the week whenever I would be reminded and a smattering of pointless wibbles.
It was made worse because the translators didn't releasethe next chapter for ar two months
