Insanely patient people waited for me to finish this series. They've been waiting since last Otakon, so I’m only barely managing to finish it in time. But I have to argue it’s not my fault, Remu did something and then L did something and it was awful and I just couldn’t bring myself to draw them after that. It was unforgivable!!Jeez, I can’t believe it actually took me a year to get over Chapter58.

I love L and I love this!
And you know what, I might actually follow your lead...I mean, I just read Death Note recently and I got seriously addicted and then there was chapter 58... when I was in chapter 59, I missed L already! ...almost lost the motivation to read, even. But yeah...L's spirit lives on! XD

Raito's always the one portrayed with a scythe, so it's just awesome to see L with one. I love the coloring and the hair <3
a lot of people just didn't see the point of DN anymore after that chapter. L is my favorite character, but I still had to read and find out the ending, just in case the theories were true.

I just read 58 about an hour ago, then I looked for some L-friendly fanfiction/fanart since then...
How could they do that!? I will never understand, oh well. I'll keep reading tomorrow, but for tonight...

I think it took so long because I had to wait weeks for each of the following chapters to come out, you know. It's hard to get over something when it's the last thing stuck in your head for a heckuva lot longer than you'd like 
Anybody would understandbly need a bit of a break after that
