I don't draw Israel that much, so I thought I ought to. I suck at guns.This is my OC Israel/Amiel Meir.

I'm just going to point out that trigger finger there.
Generally, when the gun isn't pointed at anyone/anything, and isn't being used as a direct threat, the finger should be across the trigger guard, rather than resting on the trigger itself. This minimizes any kind of accident resulting from the hold.

Sorry for that short rant; it kind of just bugs me if a gun is held wrong.
Otherwise, though, Amiel looks quite wonderful!

Hi, I'm from Israel.
My name (AMIT) is a very common name in Israel.
I do not think Chailly once met a man named Amiel (but it's certainly Israeli, just not as common)
Nice to see people draw our soldiers
Not really inaccurate in uniform, and we do not run around with guns (guns are more military police or Border Guard)
Most soldiers have a M16 rifle
This week I'm going to join the army and I was going to be a combat soldier and save along the Egyptian border.

I only draw what I can find, so this is pretty much the gist of what I found on Google. I also draw guns very poorly so I just did a random one. Thanks for the info!
However, I am glad that I have been told that she looks like their sister or cousin or friend. XD I guess I sort of slapped together a bunch of people into one thing from pictures my grandpa has from some family we have in Israel.

....but, um, I believe that Amiel is a male's name. Some modern Hebrew/Israeli names, like Tal, are unisex, but I'm fairly sure the same cannot be said for the name Amiel. (I speak Hebrew fairly fluently, but I'm not Israeli, so I hope I know what I'm talking about! ^.^;' )

it said it was a girls name or unisex name on the place I found the name. Doesn't matter. My name is generally exclusively Male. She's not Judea, but the modern state of Israel, so it would work either way.

She doesn't smile much or often. She has a very calm personality and tries hard not to get angry when things are going bad for her. She gets indignant when the other nations scold her or call her young, but she tends to keep it to herself. She seems emotionless, but she's anything but. She smiles when you make her smile. (A guy with a good sense of humor and a tendency toward getting into trouble for the hell of it brings that on quickly, for instance. *coughPrussiacough*
When he was a little kid, itty bitty, she was with Britain and he kept Palestine from trying to kill her. She started gearing up to declare independence and immediately she was attacked from all sides. She grew up incredibly fast, over a few decades, instead of centuries, and I think this might have a little to do with her personality. In the.... 60s I believe she was a young teenager and fought Saudi Arabia and several other Arabic nations who all declared war on her and she was brutal. When she gets into a mode to kill she doesn't stop until it's done, despite pain. When she's angry enough, she takes her frustrations out on a punching bag and has been known to rip it to pieces after bloodying her hands with it from punching it so much.
Now she's just trying to live day to day without someone trying to kill her or tell her how she should be living. She gets upset when other nations tell her that she should be doing one thing or another, especially since they're usually telling her to stop killing Palestinians or bombing or any number of things because they're all false.
I generally don't think she's very compatible with many other people in terms of romance, since she really needs someone to keep her from thinking about what she's got to deal with every day and that's a rare person who has any idea what she goes through.
She's relatively short to about average height, somewhere around 5'5"-5'6". She has curvy hips and a generous bust size, and a muscular body since she exercises often.

I just recently spent three months in Israel, on a program to learn about their history. I love what you have here, she actually reminds me a lot of my commander, from when we did a week of army training. She kind of looks like her too. (And let me tell you, we all thought she was really pretty.) I see where you're coming from with the reservedness, IDF commanding officers are trained to not show emotion/affection to their soldiers, but the stereotypical Israeli (not talking about the army) is kind of loud and in your face. They're extremely social, whether they're trying to get you to buy something, or come over to their house for Shabbos dinner, or whatnot.

XD I figured. I've met a couple of Israelis while at the mall and they were working and trying very, very hard to get me to buy something, so that really doesn't surprise me. That and I know that Jewish people, not simply Israelis, tend to be quite loud and have a really strong love of life. At least in my experience. But, again, for my APH OC Israel she kind of just can't relax like that... and when she does relax, such as in the rps I do where she's talking to Prussia, she's quiet he gets her to laugh.
