aaaaaaaaaaand this isn't really a page as it is just a note from me with my own messy handwriting.and I did this on Christmas Eve after seeing the movie. XD

I saw the musical here in Hungary just a week ago, and since then, the Phantom Fandom has me. ^^ So I browsed through DA and found this... It is an awesome work, for the story and the sheer size of it as well. I really liked the ending conclusion, and I could really identify with Ehren... We look kinda alike. XD (I'm Christine, lol)
Anyway, this comic really made my day, and I wish you luck with the others. ^^ Erik is LUV!

I read your comic...and it made me laugh. Which is a good thing, since I tend to not take Phantom parodies very seriously in their creativity.
And...just to make you feel a little bit better, you werent suppose to know that the Phantom had a wig on in the movie. As far as anyone knew he was a common man who wore a mask, except Christine knew he had a facial deformity.
To top it off, we were seeing the Phantom through Christine's perception which is why he didnt look deformed at all, until she had made up her mind to show his face to the 'world'.
Anyway, thanks for making such an enjoyable, yet odd, Phantom comic!

No problem! I had to see it three times to realize that's what was going on. Plus, it's most obvious when Meg walks down the same hall as the Phantom and Christine did, only it's all dark and nasty looking.

Yeah, there are a couple hints that Christine views the Phantom and his world very differently than what it really is (except for his actual lair; that's what it looks like).
Dont say 'unfortunately', some people havent even seen it because apparently the movie is far too expensive for a lot of theaters to afford. You're lucky to have seen it at least once.

Anyhow... I was equally inspired by the film, lol. All I've drawn the past 4 days are Erik and Christine, lol (OMG wasn't Gerard Butler so amazingly PERFECT for the Phantom? He was SOOOOOO drop dead sexy! Even with the deformities, lol!)

Well, I try to be as detailed as I possibly can be, so I think I'll just use my reference images from the movie companion, (Yes, there is a Phantom of the Opera Movie Companion if you don't have it.. it's $25 but well worth it because it as the whole screenplay too). So far I've only drawn him with the slicked back black hair and mask...
and when i was asking my boyfriend after the movie if he really was putting on a wig, (becuase I didn't notice that part in the movie, where he was adjusting it), he goes, "DUH: no one ever has perfect, slick hair while sword fighting!" LOL >_>;

ooooooooooooi I was doing that version from the pictures I had.... which looked like he didn't wear a wig, so I didn't give him one. Fanfiction boy is the way he is cause in all the fanfiction I read back in the days when I worked off of an AppleClassic II and a 14.4 connection made him that way. I did nothing that I didn't think was correct, so BWAH!
