hm... Sara and Mao from Macross Zero also sang, but like u said villy; they aren't songstress. Just like Ishtar from Macross II. Still, this one is greeat!

Oh I didn't draw it sorry! I just edited it the picture. But that would be interesting putting Sharon in this considering she is technically evil. I don't know anything about Ishtar though.

That's awesome! I could imagine the band already. Lynn Minmay and Sheryl as lead singers, Ranka and Mylene as chorus/secondary singers and Basara Nekki as the badass guitarist! (Let him do the solo, and all hell will break loose!!!) Also, Myung Fang Lone from Macross Plus could be the group's producer as she did to Sharon Apple, she also has some singing skill too.
I was glad you didn't add any 'songstress' from Macross Zero, because the girls in Macross Zero aren't really songstresses. But could be cameo characeters. That way all of the main 'singers' of the Macross series are complete. LOL! <3

You haven't watch it? Well, all I can tell is that it took place before any other Macross series. In 2009, the SDF-01 Macross crashed into South Pacific Ocean. Back then, there are UN Spacy and Anti-UN Spacy fighting to control the protoculture artifacts lurking in the ocean, with the Mayan Island got caught in the crossfire. UN Spacy pilot, Shin Kudo, was shot down by the variable fighter piloted by an ace of Anti-UN and woke up on the island, where he met Sara Nome and Mao Nome, (You know, THE Doctor Mao Nome, Sheryl's grandmother!) sisters who are the inhabitants of the island. And this is where the story started. We also got to see Roy Focker as Shin Kudo's mentor. The main VF of the series is called VF-0 Phoenix, the very first variable fighter and the advanced prototype to the VF-1 Valkyrie.
This is also the first series to introduce advanced 3D graphic in battle scenes similar to those in Frontier, although I think the story cannot keep up with those of Macross Plus. But it's still great nevertheless. Macross fans shouldn't miss this!

I'm a relativity new Macross fan. For over a year I've liked it. Kinda sad huh? I've seen the original Macross, DYRL, Macross Plus, haven't finished Macross 7, Macross Frontier, and the first MF movie. Ah I see. There was a tribute to it in those few episodes in Macross Frontier where Ranka played Mao Nome. Are any of the other Macross series?

Well, I guess that's almost all of them. There's OVA Flashback 2012, the epilogue to the original Macross series (I haven't seen it yet), Macross II: Lovers, again. (Although it is a parallel universe and is not canon to the original timeline.) Macross Plus has 4 OVA and one Movie Edition, with new scenes and different editings. Macross 7 has an OVA named Macross 7 Encore and the sequel to the series, Macross Dynamite 7. There's also a movie named Macross 7: The Galaxy's Calling Me!
Other than that it's manga side stories.
Still tuned for the 2nd MF movie 'The Wings of Goodbye' Can't wait for it!!!
