Woah!That took a lot of work and time. And, again β mistakes, mistakes, mistakes!Β
I am yet so shit with sculpting.
Was inspired by an awesome story To Love the Moon . Not really connected now, but at first I was going to add the protagonist to the sculpt. A lot has changed since, so I stopped on Luna alone.
Anyway! Information:
- 11cm tall
- 15cm wide
- Sculpey Ultralight
- SuperSculpey
- Acrylic paints
- Sculpey glaze
I am not very proud of that one.

We all know how it is with mistakes on the own work. The creator is his hardest critic.
And for example, i don't see finger prints. So it's not bad for a early sculpt. We all practice and learn with each day.

True, all true.
And I've been learning a lot from the #PonySculptors Β skype, so me being able to avoid some basic traps is mostly thanks to them.
And I am better sculptor every sculpt I make) this one is... weird, because I started it early, but finished late, thus even my previous sculpt is better than this one. And there is just no question about my current WIP.

Fascinating. I'm a contributor of the Sculptors but this is the first time i hear something like a Skype Group of them. On the other side, i have no Skype since the Snowden incident.

They do have one. In theory ~eightup747 Β and ~Ingtron invite people there (I got recruited by 8upΒ ), but lately they have been busy or missing. I think that they had a forum post (they don't now) about the group. I think in near future there will be a blog post about it... maybe.
I also organize group calls sometimes (~once in every two weeks), where we sculpt together.

She looks good to me! I really like how you made the mane and tail, especially how you gave them some dimensionality (so many people make them look flat). I also like how you painted the various purple sections. Keep on sculpting! ^^

Wow, I absolutely love how you sculpted her mane! It looks positively gorgeous and dynamic, as if it were made of air- your improvement in the field of sculpting is astonishing. Keep up the fantastic work!

I really like her, but I still have a lot to learn.
