So i guess this is a WIP for art studio. didn't really finish the water... or the ground... or the lily pads...
I sort of had an attack of A.D.D. and started drawing soemthing else in the middle of this.

so... it's not done. But it seemed like ya'll liked my japanese garden [link] for some reason... so i'm gonna put this up whether you like it or not beeches!!

Ummm, i was supposed to say something important...
OH YEAH i referenced about 3 different pics and tried to put them all together... and stuff.

Holy Crap Awesome, is more like it! Very nice use of multiple photo referencing in this piece! Keep pumping out more killer artwork!

You know, ever since your last Japanese landscape, I have been really in the mood to do a pencil landscape in the same vein. I can't for the life of me find reference to work with. Regardless, stunning work here, I love your soft lines especially on background work such as this. You should consider integrating this into your super hero sketches.

Really?? It would definilty be cool to see your interpretation of a landscape like this. i just googled a bunch of pics; there's sure to be good refs there.

Thanks for da compliment! i'm really trying to work on getting backgrounds down so i can incorporate them into scenes and comic stuff. hopefully putting them all together will look good.
