This is awesome and could very well be the starting page of a comic!
It makes me wonder what might have happened, why is the character so thoughtful and why is he in a seemingly abandoned house? I must say... the eyes I saw only in the second moment and they make the whole thing even more interesting.
Abut the technique... I like the comicbook look with the inked lines and deep shadows, as I like the overall colour scheme. Really good work!
