This is a sketch I’ve been wanting to do for a long, long time. I never played Final Fantasy, but I do know of Tifa and Aerith. I’m not 100% sure if they’re a canon couple, but they are pretty cute! So anyway, I imagined them as a happily married couple, and it looks like they’re about to become even happier.

Don’t worry, Tifa isn’t doing much fighting these days, she just likes the outfit. I think Aerith might like it too. ;3

So when searching for references for the two (I saw bad things…) their outfits seemed to have changed up in every image of them, so they both wound up with fusions of their typical attires. It makes sense for a wardrobe change since they’re both carrying babies. It is hard to tell, but they are both wearing wedding rings. Look closely on their left hands. Whether they got pregnant first or married first is up to your imagination.

What bugs me the most about the drawing is Tifa’s face. If it wasn’t for the outfit, you probably wouldn’t have known it was her. Her hair was tricky too.
