That's exactly my point. Trolling is making some stupid or inflammatory comment (like, "This isn't art, it's porn") and then sitting back and laughing at the people who respond to it. Inevitably, someone does, which is what makes it entertaining for the jerks who do it.

I can't imagine trolling being anything but dull, myself, but I suppose for people with little of interest in their lives, watching someone get emotional over some stupid remark, especially when it involves paying attention to them, it must have some value.
