Wow, This was the first picture I've colored by hand in sooo long. And It wasn't a complete disaster. 
Well damn. That old sailor moon fandom found me again. Not that I'm actually going to go back and watching the show again because I believe every Sailor moon fan that is above the age of 13 known it isn't as good as we remember it. In fact watching it again we realize it was really gay..in more then one way. even the uncensored Japanese version (which has cussing and more action) is still kinda gay.
Speaking of gay, did you know Deviantart has every possible couple ever thought of made for this series? Of course you did, Devart does that for everything. But what surprised me is that I've only been able to find ONE, just one picture of this couple. [link] this is it. I'm amazed. And not in a good way. Seriously, only one?
I personally fell in love with this couple by accident. Someone was going around making fan fictions of every couple she could think of but couldn't figure out a plot for these two, so I decided to help out. Rather she used my plot or not, I can't say but I just started to form a story in my head and just loved it.
So yeah, new favorite couple. They need more fan art in my opinion. I'm a woman on a mission! BEWARE!

Huh... well I knew there was a canon gay couple in it, but I didn't realise the rest of it was full of gay subtext too... and that link didn't lead to a fanart, just to a submission page.
Anyway, I recognise Venus, but not the other one...

The canon couple would be sailor Neptune and sailor Uranus but through the US version they were just "cousins".
Yeah the first link was a screw up. The other one takes you to the only other picture I've seen with this pairing.
Oh and the one with the green hair is sailor Pluto. She isn't seen much until much later in the series.

hair looks even better on here! one thing you STILL need to work on is proportions. your upper and lower bodies ared always good seperately, but put together they sometimes don't match. try to remember that! >3<

when you rewatch them be sure not to skip over the bonus little extra episode thingies. My favorite is "Ghostly Puppet Show" but then again i'm a sucker for Haruka/Michiru

Well to be honest, at some point in my childhood I stopped watching sailor moon (I think it was because we moved or something) and I never really got to the part where Pluto officially joins the team. In fact I've only really seen her in movies and that little bit she appeared when they went to the future to save rinne who was Pink lady I think.
I'm probably not going to watch them over again. Mainly because all I know of Pluto is vague recollection, Wikipedia and fan-fiction. Venus follows the same lines but I remember her a little better. Getting to the point here, if I did watch over the series again I might notice and/or remember things that would ruin my view of them and possible ruin my little fan couple thing I got going on with them.

theres nothing in the show that goes against that fan coupling... well other than the age of the characters really. Pluto really mostly hangs out with uranus and neptune most of the time and shows up to give advice. I *think* at the start of season 5 when the team is divided Venus and Pluto team up and kick ass.
srsly though. You dont see enough of pluto to really determine anything. You see even less of saturn and thats sad.

It is sad isn't it? And to think Saturn is almost the most popular character in sailor moon but has had less air time then Molly did after the other sailor scouts came into the picture.

You do know that she is the only soldier whose transformation sequence is never shown at any point, right? Its in the manga though and one of the video games.
srsly tho. rewatch the serires. its worth it.

wow, It's been soooooo long since I've seen sailor moon. I completely forgot how bad the art looked. I mean i've seen worse but still I somehow remember it better. And dear lord the voices were annoying.
It was still good, in fact I found myself enjoying it and going through all the hand signs and waiting to yell out their magic attacks with them like I did as a child. Which would have been awkward explaining to my friend who is asleep since it's the middle of the night.
I have to admit I'm a fan of UranusxNepture too. I forgot how discreetly profound their love was. It brings back wonderful memories.

they are a beautiful couple. Thats why I love em so much. If you dont mind spoilers, here is another amazing scene with them... srsly tho the spoilers are HUGE. season 5. (it never came to the US)
FYI: The three girls in bondage leather are the Sailor Starlights. They are sailor soldiers from another galaxy.
