Painting trees brings me more joy than any other subject.

As the picture developed, the figure began to resemble me. The way I would wear my pony tail on the side of my head with a giant purple bow when I was four years old. The green pants with purple polka dots I put on every time I went outside. The way I would read upside down stories to my cats in my backyard at sun down, and the way they would listen as if they knew what the story was really about.
