In mythology, Hephaestus built theΒ golden throne Β to trap Hera for eternity in revenge for her tossing him out of Mt. Olympus when he was a baby. Marrying Aphrodite was the deal to free his horrible mother (ironic, she's the Goddess of motherhood).
