Description
Mazlin is a soft type, born on a farm to a poor family of three. As a youth he would court with young Danain her garden secretly, as her family would never approve of a young princess knowing a peasant. Unfortunately
Dana's fiance Sir Lancaster Phalanx the Altruistic caught Mazlin in the act and had him cuffed and hauled to
jail. Fortunately a thief helped Mazlin escape his trial and Mazlin was invited to join the secret organization
known as the Orchid Watchers. This group helps ween away corruption in Turkisss and also protects rare and
endangered flowers.
Mazlin stayed with them for years before meeting with Dana again and marrying her. They since
formed their own organization with Jenny and Helamiss to carry out mercenary missions and share wealth together.
Mazlin can endure great amounts of pain and punishment with passively impenetrable skin, though he has a soft
side emotionally. He wants to talk to people, but appears awkward and shy to most

Haha, I've posted on one of Β your other works already, but this one is very well done as well. The brush strokes are really aesthetically pleasing, as well as the under tones of colors in the face.
Do you paint digitally? Or traditionally?

oh thanks! I do most of my work digital, though I do practice sketching with pencil and paper; I'd love to actually learn traditional, and some of digital translates over to it, but it's a very slow medium for now. I do like to replicate the feel of brushstrokes, but that only gets you so far; it's the sketch and the idea that makes professional work

Wow! Well, you replicate brush strokes in your artwork very well, I was very inclined to believe it was traditional! And I'd definitely work more on traditional art, if that is what you want. And I totally agree about professionalism.

I really enjoy the work of digital painters like ruan jia and theo prins who kinda do this style, though theirs is more sophisticated through experience
