Never noticed the tongue but I gotta say this is by far one of my favorite depictions of Jasmine in Jafar's coils! I like the positioning and angle you used. I always thought this was the best angle, when he was saying "most powerful being on earth"
You could really see the coils tightening. I'd love to see an animated version of this scene redone with Jasmine being squeezed, but no one has done it so far

In film there is a term called mise-en-scene. It is basically the layout of the shot. A good shot is not random, the elements are laid out in a specific way.
This shot makes Jafar seem more powerful because he is in the upper right, which suggests dominance, while Jasmine is in the lower left which suggests weakness, or submission. Of course it doesn't hurt that he is about 3/4 of the shot and Jasmine is about 1/10.
