Description Study from my gamedesign course. Task was to draw a bit of spaceart, with pstars and nebulas and planets.

Threw in the Normandy for good measure

That yellow nebula needs some work. The jaggedness of it doesn't seem natural.

I've never been in space, I don't know if it looks natural

But yeah, it seems a bit flat there. Darn those monitors. The difference between what my Cintiq shows me and what shows up on the screen after is immense. And it's definitely not the Cintiqs fault ^^

You can google for NASA images of nebulas. They're as close to space as they are. Nebulas are mostly spherical/ring-like due to how dying stars eject matter in pulses.
