An idea I've been mulling around for a while. I swear, Watari doesn't get enough love, so I wanted to do a pic that focused on him (But I couldn't help but to draw L
).Originally, I was just going to draw Watari, but. . .
That thing in the center is supposed to be a sword of justice, that's why it has the scales and the blindfolded skull like Lady Justice.
I think you'll have to full view this one, I'm not sure.

I've always thought that they had a father-son relationship, but then again, I've always thought that L was Italian, so I can't trust myself.
The sword was my favorite thing to draw, I'm thinking of making it my icon.

Italian was a good guess! The creators ended up saying he was one-quarter Japanese, one-quarter English, one-quarter Russian and one-quarter French or Italian, so you were actually (possibly) one-quarter right.
