You have captured the beauty of the family in such a heart felt way. I just finished reading the manga and let me say this. I cannot remember a time (Aside from kyoko katsuya in Fruits Basket) Were I cried while reading a manga let alone a book. It was that well written and sad. You captured all of that.

I think this is one of the worst comics by Urasawa, but those scenes almost made me cry too. Gesicht's story is so sad. D: And this picture makes me feel that sadness again...

I love this drawing. First of all, you captured extremely well Urasawa's drawing style. On the other hand, I love it because in the manga they appear with this pose from the back, and it's like you had taken a photograph of them from the front. It's gorgeous
Pluto is the only comic I almost cried with. It's the most awesome manga I've ever read, with the permission of Adolf (also of Osamu Tezuka). I was about to cry when professor Tenma hugs Helena after Gesicht's death, when she's crying for his husband. While reading this manga, I was thinking I was watching a movie...

Same here; I was sobbing like an uncapped fire hydrant when Epsilon and Gesicht died. *sniff* I didn't actually think they would kill Gesicht! I mean, he was the main character! Though to be fair they DID kill off Atom pretty early in the series (though he got to be resurrected.) Ah....
Of course, the fastest antidote to sniffling is humor, and the result was this [link] Naoki Urasawa is turning in his eventual grave.

Gesicht's flashbacks are heartbreaking.
On a completely random note, I just looked up Gesicht on Google to check my spelling and apparently his name is German for "face"
