Yeah I think it's been a looong while since I portrayed her combative side, so I wanted to draw something leaning back toward that a little.
True, she'd rather make friends than enemies, would rather help than harm, but if protecting her friends, or herself, means kicking someone's butt, then a throw-down's gonna go-down.

Aah I hope you can help me learn to shade like you can ;w; I worry that in order to do so I need to have full understanding of anatomy and all that stuff, which I really don't have as my art style is cartoony, but if you can still help me shade it realistically at all it would be appreciated.

Well, there is a way to shade with a more cartoony style. Shading and lighting is more about understand how light reflects and occassionally refracts off different surfaces and forms in perspective, less about anatomy or such (but that is always a plus). So long as you understand how the forms of your toons are, you can also shade and light them in this way as well.

Well that's where you come in my man, I've never been able to understand the "forms" of my characters when viewed from a 3D perspective, and I have no idea where or how I should be shading each part of the body. I learn best from experience though, and I'm expecting you to tell me exactly where I should or shouldn't be shading during our one-to-ones. I should in time get used to where to shade what, and be able to do so on my own after we've had enough sessions.

I've also thought of that before, and came up with an interesting solution. Instead of the whole doppelganger or their can only be one of us kind of thing, it would basically be treated kind of like she would be challenging herself internally.
