Anyway, this is from my story Schism of the Soul which I hope to get up at sometime this summer. My plan for writing has just not gone the way I want it... But about this pic... I started it last September, yes, it's almost been a year... Been working on it off and on. About 60 layers in Photoshop 7.0. Details upon details... Anyway, a little background:
On Danny's 16th birthday, his two selves split apart, his ghost half ensuring his desires to live his afterlife to the fullest by disposing of the only other who can stop him - Danny Fenton. Three years later, the ghost of Fenton, having returned from the Netherworld beyond the Ghost Zone with the Scythe of Serenity, is now known as The Reaper of Souls. His goal - to send all ghosts to the Netherworld, including the only one who can bring him the peace he deserves - Danny Phantom. In this scene, Sam and Tucker from three years previous have travelled to the future and found Fenton at his grave site, looking for a way to save their friend, before his birthday arrives.
BTW, I got the idea for this story before TUE... it was based on the ads but honestly, how was I suppose to know Butch would actually have Phantom kill Fenton in it? O_o

Oh, and the picture is awesome, too. At first I thought his eyes were iris-and-pupil less because they're so light, and it was creeping me out. XD I also like the reaper staff, very nice rendition of an old favorite. Anyway, it's wonderful!

Thank you ^^ Hee, his eyes are supposed to be creepy... I was going to add glow to them, but it just made it look like his pupils were being filled out because they're so light. Oh well, I like it this way. And thanks for the compliment on the scythe! I love scythes and I just had to put a neat design on one...

Thanks! Yeah, the feet were annoying, and I find the head too large (then again, it is anime so... that might be excusable...). In both cases though, it was a point of screwed up from the beginning... On the original sketch I thought those two things were off, I'm just not that good at fixing things digitally to the extent it needed here...

For the picture: Love the staff he's got. That's just so purely magnificent and so awesome. Love the coloring and everything. I also love how Danny Fenton is now portrayed. Such a sad face, makes you truly depressed, yet mystified. I see his still has his costume, only different and that's a new view I enjoy. Now THE WINGS. I LOVE THEM!! The black represents something so mysterious yet beautiful, the aura around them so truly fantastical that you just leave me wanting more!
For the story: What an awesome plot! I'll certainly have to read it. Poor Danny...it seems such a mystery to why Danny Phantom would want to kill off his human plot at first, but there comes a list of reasons to why soon after. This "netherworld" concept is also another addition that will send this story flying! I will certainly read and review! I can't wait...you really have left me wanting more!

And speaking of the story, I'm not sure when I'll get it out. I'm on chapter 5 but I haven't written anything in two months now... and I still have to finish a story which was last updated in November (my reviewers there are only too kind because they actually keep coming back when the story's only updated on average every 6 months X.x I feel so bad about not getting updates out faster...).

WOW. That's amazing. He looks very troubled. The detail on everything is amazing, right down to the torn gloves. I like the wings, and the way you casually hid the year of his death.
