If they ever invent skates for horses this could be tested, to be honest I couldn't say!

The problem I see is not fitting skates on hooves, it is that skating requires a push back and out; horses walk only in a straight line, AFAIK. That's more efficient, but less versatile.

Does the extra weight a centaur carries in front help?

But she's skating like a girl, which seems possible for horse legs, but is impossible w/o the little teeth on the blade
