Doing some asks in between pages.The moogles are currently in redesign, as you can see.
This is where I’m going with Mog. Pretty bear like. No wings. Maybe they'll have not really functional ones, I'm not sure yet
I imagine the Moogles are an indigenous species to the mountains around Narshe. They’re intelligent creatures, but obviously not human. So they have a long history of conflict with human settlers, and it tends to get worse whenever Narshe miners encroach on Moogle caves.
Mog is the tribe shaman - his white fur marks him as special - and is one of the rare moogles who can still tap into magic. His has been growing stronger lately, though he doesn’t quite yet know why.

I really enjoy world building, so figuring out how things work in the larger sense is really fun and gets me to some cool places. I'm just glad people are liking it so far! I'm always worried people are going to get upset that I'm messing with something so classic

I do understand that people can get touchy, but I'd say that they'd only get offended if the changes are done in a bad way (ie. the last airbender, dragonball evolution, and artist remixing old songs). You don't need to worry though, as long as you try and are creative!
