Just needs some volunteers and a pressure washer. I'd do it, except I don't live in the UK.

That is actually a Dassault Mystère IVA (read: 4A), not a Mirage.
The Dassault Mystère IVA was a development of the Dassault Ouragan, and a contemporary of the North American F-86 Sabre; while the aircraft was French-designed and French-built, it was actually purchased for the French Air Force using US funding under the Mutual Defence Assistence Program. As such, all aircraft were nominally US-owned, and as such "returned" to the USAF after their retirement for disposal*. As a result of this, a number of surplus Mystère IVA's ended up as targets on bombing ranges in the UK, among which the Headcorn example.
(* MDAP-funded aircraft remained nominally owned by the US, 'leased' to their owners for the time of their use. When withdrawn from use or deemed surplus to requirements, they were returned to US ownership, or scrapped at location on US orders.)

It's definitely a Mystere and it belongs to the National Museum Of The United States Airforce in Dayton Ohio
