Description
A basic drawing for an idea I had for a RWBY weapon by combining dual revolvers with dual handaxes/tomahawks.The overall design could be improved and all, so long as the basic concept is still there.
This weapon is currently unused by any characters

oh, look, I was meaning to do a tomahaw revolver weapon for a rwby OC, so I googled "tomahawk revolver" and found this.
just commenting becouse I find it funny, but mine will be based off a more modern revolver, like a Taurus tracker or an mp 412, and will incorpΓ³rate a mechanical transformation.

Yeah this was is reeeeeally basic. Its more or less just a concept to be improved upon and made more RWBY-fied. I hope to see yours then soon, it sounds like it should be really cool ^_^

I made two, one based on the taurus tracker and another, fully original, of my imagination. personally I prefer the taurus-like

Both look really cool. Maaaaaybe the character uses both revolvers? I like 7 as its hooked end would be a great counter weapon, and 8 looks better offensively in general. 8s axe end almost resembles a bardiche blade, which I love lol.

the 6 does shoot twice per trigger pull, so it is technically a machinegun....
the character is being co-created in a group, we're 4 , so I cannot confirm if he will use one or two weapons, or if they will look the same.
but he is based on tom sawyer, and as you said, the 6 resembles a bardiche, wich is an european weapon, while the 7 resembles a tomahawk more, wich is an american weapon.
but who knows, Il bring the 'both' option to the table and see whay yhe other's say.

Well most gunner type characters will use two pistols, with only ironwood being an exception in terms of RWBY. Having their two weapons be unique and offer distinct advantages/disadvantages would be a pretty awesome in my opinion

Again, tomahawks was a bad word to use. I really meant for it to be more of just hand axes instead of a throwing weapon.
The handles can be used to non-lethal blunt hits or even hooking enemy weapons or their bodies even and the blades can be for more lethal swings

With my OC Stirling, the blade for the tomahawk became like a bladed hand guard for the revolver pistol grip, that way the weight of the pistol grip will be better for throwing it

for a hand axe though I guess it would work effectively either way, I mean you have the bladed end and like how many single shot powder pistols were used when fired, you have a blunt pommel for non lethal strikes

Yeah, non lethal club hits, or even be used to hook an opponents weapon with the handle

Well thats the thing, these are just pistol revolvers. And since there would be 2 used at a time, it wouldnt be something you necessarily carefully aim instead of just point & fire
