Uppdated design: Saturday ( New mid content design )I started on this design today. Its was built for an competition @ 99designs.com. Since its the first entry I will proably uppdate it during the week!

Very nice looking indeed, but as time goes on it's becoming harder and harder to make something that doesn't look like "been there, done that." I too know this problem all too well. All of the good sites in the popular gallery are starting to look like offshoots of the same primal concept.

I know what you mean, but I really hope you are wrong, Hopfully new techniques and new software will alter the way we look at webbdesign in the future, more interactivity and living concepts in digital worlds perhapps

If the look seems tired...but the site does a lot, not only with fancy DTHML/AJAX, but also with scripting the background that's different and enhances security, load times, CPU strain, and data storage efficiency, that's what really matters. A sharp look helps to make the site trustworthy and welcoming on top of that. And something like this works.
