I'm overly excited about the new Pokemon games coming in November, so I decided to doodle one of the box art legendaries for the new games- Zacian!
If I had to take a guess on Zacian's typing, I bet it's Steel/Fighting. I can't really think of any other typing it could have... (then again, Solgaleo surprised a lot of people with being Steel/Psychic instead of fire, so... XD)
I ended up playing around a bit with the shading with this one... used a smudge tool in combination with my usual method... I actually rather like how it turned out... XD

thanks! it was my older brother's suggestion to start using colors other than black for shading, and I'm pretty glad I decided to try it out! definitely not going to go back to black anytime soon... XD

And I do really think the shading is a great improvement! There are some cases for using a simple black color, though using the colors from the environment for the shadow is a lot more vibrant and can make the art feel more fitting.
