Okay, soooo... I really did manage to finish the planned reference sheet I wanted to do of Kematef, my black lion.
Wow. I'm surprised at myself. Buuuut, as always, I did it instead of finishing the remaining Art Trades and Gifts, so no extra cookies for me... *goes standing in the corner*
Related scraps:I'm still not sure what to make of Kematef's background... melanistic (black) lions apparently don't exist IRL, at least I couldn't find any information on them, but I didn't want to change his colours, so there. I guess there's no shame in creating a fantastic explanation like that as to why Kematef is black...

Jas, echt. Die Geschichten sind eh okay, musst halt nur schauen, dass sie nicht allzu "traurig" ausarten, sonst kann aus einer Figur schnell eine Mary-Sue werden. Das heiΓt natΓΌrlich nicht, dass jede Figur mit dramatischen Hintergrund eine Mary-Sue ist.

Ahhh, now I remember my love for TLK as well... Damn, I always cried in first movie and always adored Kiara and Covu xDHm, have to rewatch the movies again...
Btw, actually you're doing great in drawing Disney lions!
And there do exist white lions, no black lions seen in wild life, but still, the character concept is good
