here's the brightcrest keyblade made for all finished except for the resin wayfinder and the gems above the hilt. hopefully the silicone rubber will be in soon and then i can replace the wooden star and gems on the keyblade.i had heard that using sanding blocks instead of sandpaper could give some good results, and boy did it. it was incredibly smooth and it was a lot easier to sand out imperfections. then i used steel wool and made it even smoother. it feels so amazing. i'll be using sandblocks and steel wool for all my other stuff in the future.

This is finished pine plywood. I do have a tutorial in my digital work folder. I have started to use red oak if i can find it big enough since it has a better finish and it's sturdier for props that need it.

is it the charm on the end of the keyblade? or on it? >0< Wayfinders are annoying to make..

The one that goes in the hole at the top, i just finished pouring the silicone mold, so after it dries i just pour in the resin and hope it doesnt look completely terrible. Also, it's not supposed to be full size so i would have to make another wayfinder full size if i wanted to make some to sell. T-T
