Ohmuhgawd. Six and a half hours.
Finally done, though. I hope it does someone good. If you find a typo, you get a cookie. It's been proofread by me and my roommate, so it should be flawless. 
Let me know if there's anything you need clarification on as well. It's entirely possible that I may use lingo that only makes sense to me. Don't judge.

For a guide on any aspect of using Photoshop this is bar far one of the best I've read.
You have gone to great lengths to ensure very detailed descriptive levels and been sure to cover all areas. There are also visual aids to help keep track of your own progress, does mine match this step on the guide and so on.
Also the shots of the menus you have used as well are handy as Photoshop for inexperienced people can be a pain to navigate around. Especially as there tends to be menus inside menus inside menus in Photoshop e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
Overall it's obvious to tell a great deal of time & effort has gone into this and it is a great resource for others to make use of.

This is a really awsome tutorial! Really loved that you revealed so much about how you get your nice light/shadow-effects, will deffinetly try a few of theese things for my next signatures
