Early 1960s NSU Sportprinz, one of roughly 250 early-production cars bodied by Bertone.
Got a real good look at this car back in early October of last year.

A little NSU Sport Prinz. The "Sport" makes a difference! Designed by Franco Scaglione in Turin, Italy, the first models were fitted with a 35 cu in straight-2 cylinder engine, enough to propel it to 75mph!
However, a later Spider version wasn't fitted with an internal combustion engine. It was fitted with a Wankel rotary engine, very smooth and the only other kind of engine to emerge and be a success!.

I wish it wasn't so rusted, (like that rear parcel shelf, there's shrubbery growing there) it could be a nice little car to restore. It's even got little fins on the back!
