Description
When it comes to character design, we had this thing that went along with a pencil and a piece of paper. It was called imagination.(No, I didn't shade this time. I decided not to shade anymore when it comes to comics. But hey, maybe that will change.)

From Scratch, to even YouTube, particularly back in 2014, recolors are one of the most controversial topics in the digital art community. The only recolors that I remember being talked about at that time were of Sonic characters.

Yeah, mostly Sonic. Although...I do see some SVTFOE and MLP recolors.

I never saw any S&TFOE recolors, but Sonic recolors are everywhere! Do you think that one of the reasons is Β SEEEEEGAAAAAAHHHHHΒ having positive opinions on having fan works of their products (I only heard it once, and I am not sure if this is true), or is it just overrated regardless?

The saddening part is that many people don't notice the resemblances, or think the copy is the original.
I dunno, this seems like a lack of effort, IMO :v I know creating characters can be tricky, specially if you want to make them unique as possible, but giving in to copying isn't all that good in the long run.
