Happy Earth Day and Happy 25th Anniversary to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

In celebration of both Earth Day and the 25th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, here’s my stylized tribute drawing of the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom with a beautiful 25 at the center and various carved animals!

List of Animals Included Onto the Tree of Life:

- Tiger (to represent the tigers in the Maharajah Jungle Trek in the Asia section and the Year of the Tiger 1998, the same year Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened)
- Rhino (representing the rhinos found on Kilimanjaro Safaris)
- Giraffe (representing the giraffes found on Kilimanjaro Safaris)
- Elephant (representing the elephants found on Kilimanjaro Safaris)
- Gorilla (to represent the gorillas in the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail in the Africa section and to also represent the Year of the Monkey 2028, the upcoming 30th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
- Monkey (to also represent the Year of the Monkey 2028, the upcoming 30th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
- Lemur (to also represent the Year of the Monkey 2028, the upcoming 30th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, since it’s a primate)
- Crocodile
- Python (a snake, representing the Year of the Snake 2013, the 15th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
- Tree Frog (a frog representing the Disney animated TV series Amphibia, which has frogs)
- Insects (to represent the 25th anniversary of A Bug’s Life which was released in 1998, the same year Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened)
- Butterfly
- Dragonfly
- Ant
- Grasshopper
- Chameleon
- Owl
- Sea Creatures (to represent the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid and the 20th anniversary of Finding Nemo)
- Dolphin
- Crab
- Clownfish
- Sea Turtle
- Dinosaurs (to represent Dinoland USA and the release of Jurassic Park in 1993)
- Patagotitan (a new titanosaur sauropod dinosaur)
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
- Triceratops
- Iguanodon (representing the ride DINOSAUR in Dinoland USA)
- Utahraptor (found in 1993, the same year Jurassic Park was released in theaters)

I would include more animals carved onto the Tree of Life such as lions, zebras, and baboons, and other animals, I’ll probably include those in future Tree of Life pics…
