A fox assassin character with a crazy pike I designed today for fun !
I was inspired by a character design speaker we had in class on Monday and Nico Marlet LOL I should have drawn more poses of her, but FFF D:
I'm trying to do more characters to add in my portfoliooo, because we have a portfolio day next Tuesday! A bunch of studios are coming to recruit interns and full-time and whatnot -- I'm not expecting anything though, cuz I'm a measly first year LOL. But we get to have the experience of putting legit portfolios together for the studios !
Aaand yeah, if you want to keep up with me, check out my blog c: I update that place the most with my sketches and stuff relating to the industry. I guess my fantasy illustrations is just a hobby on the side now @.@'

Impressively stylized in design! Construction can use a little work, but your graphic shapes are astonishingly bold. Your 'Nico' work outdoes your own inspiration in some ways.

I would KILL to see someone style a film in the same vein as his designs. CGI models don't do his bold shapes justice, but hand-drawn can't carry the detail...we'd have to invent entirely new programs to model the 3d mapping after hand-drawn, on top of hand-drawn shapes. 0.0 I can think of a programmer or two I could throw the idea toward....
