I didn't grow up as a Marvel (nor DC) comic fan. My brother collected Heavy Metal, so I was more exposed to names such as Simon Bisley, Enki Bilal, Frank Frazetta, Julie Bell, etc.

It's only here on deviantArt that I am awakened to Filipino comic greats such as Leinil Yu, Carlo Pagulayan, Boy Sicat, Gerry Alanguilan, but up to now I still won't react if a hardcore Marvel comic fan will mention other names at my face because honestly, I don't know anyone else.

I remember reading a few Daredevil issues when I was a kid, but that's because he's my brother's favorite. Ask me the artist, you'll get zero.

I've been to a comic convention twice, but the toys and cosplayers got my attention more than the mountain of comicbooks on sale.

So I apologize if that confession make me seem pathetic since I'm drawing a fan art when I'm not actually a fan. Maybe it's my way of showing you that my mind is very much open to drawing anything. Hell, it's pretty obvious in my gallery that I draw manga style too, which I only tried after joining deviantArt.

So what is my point exactly?

What I'm trying to say is...
