Description
Spectral Prism was a commission for P0N1ES ; she is made of Baby Purple (non-Shannon), Iris and Lavender minky with custom printed (Spoonflower) minky for the hair. I'm super pleased with how this girl came out - the printed minky works perfectly for her hair. It has a slight shine to it that normal minky wouldn't have provided, making it a lovely shimmery rainbow wave. Her hair has no wire or other hard parts for support - the shape supports itself. Her socks are made of Black and Ash minky and are removable, her necklace is hand beaded with custom sculpted pendants, and her hairpin is also sculpted.Related content

Thank you! In this case it was because there weren't enough pastel colors available in normal minky to get the hair looking right, and there would be so much piecing involved in putting all the colors together it would be a nightmare. I generally go for printed minky in cases where it would be both easier and more accurate, now that it's available!
