I had some requests for a tutorial about my Cyborg Mercenary character.

It's my fist tutorial ever. You can see the different steps taken to paint the character. I added some text explanations.

The background was first made in 3D in mandelbulb.

What did I use?

- Photoshop CS2 with a Genius Tablet to paint. You can use Gimp (free) or SAI.
- Mandelbulb 3D for the background (here: azuki-sato.deviantart.com/art/… . The original image was 6000 x 3000 pixels.
- 2 sets of brushes found on DA:
- itachi3054.deviantart.com/art/…
- emelody.deviantart.com/art/Smo…
- All the other custom brushes (armour/hair) are made by myself
