Description A social commentary by Firestar9mm.

The Game of Life was created by Milton Bradley; it was one of my favorites growing up. Now that I have an apartment and bills to pay and a job I'm not too fond of, I have no idea what I found so fun about it.....

(Edit: Should probably point out that this piece was partially inspired by a sketch on Seth Green's awesome stop-motion masterpiece Robot Chicken. I can assure you, however, that there was no such scene as this in that sketch--this one's all Star.)

I was a little worried at first, but I still clicked on it. Not going to say what I thought they were, totally my mind in the gutter that made that assumption.

I loved that game too. I think the sketch you mentioned is my favorite Robot Chicken sketch ever! It always makes me laugh when I watch it.

Robot Chicken is the most brilliant show on TV.

Guffawed my way to class, so thanks for making my day. I loved having kids whenever I played Life--I didn't feel like I'd won anything until I filled up everyone of those empty slots in my car. And then I'd inevitably be involved in a fire or something and lose all my money. I always lost, but it was okay as long as I had those kids. Poor guys never did make it to college.

What up girl! Good to see you

I could never freaking win that game either. My best friend ruled at it. I will never forget this one time she was kicking my ass up and down the board and her car was so crammed full of kids we had to use that gummy blue sticky-tack to keep them all in the car because there were no more empty slots. She pushed her car along the multicolored little road on the board and then announced in a high-pitched voice, "Mommy...we have to go to the bathroom." I laughed so hard that I started coughing and her mom came in with a glass of water and forced it down my throat, convinced I was choking to death.

... *stare*

This is brilliant! Brilliant says I!

(Though I'm really glad you had the explanation, cuz I couldn't figure out what they were. Eh hehe... er.) The pink one looks so worried even though she's just sitting there. Nice work!

Also, a friend of mine has a tattoo nearly identical to the footprint in your copyright. Only it's blue.

I was so afraid someone was going to make a penis joke--like we all didn't spend our childhoods snickering with our friends about that!

The pink one's like, "I'd say this isn't what it looks like, but it is." XD

Really! I'd love to have a tattoo like your friend's! I tried to pick the pawprint as close to a canine for my mark, but the exposed claws are usually lost when I stamp it on something. I was thinking of getting a tattoo like that on my ankle (if I don't get the Japanese code of bushido around it) but they wanted like two hundred fifty for it, and that's nuts--the one on my back didn't even cost that much and it's way bigger.

My friend had to pay a lot to get it on her foot. I guess the foot is the most sensitive place to get a tattoo (surprisingly) and parlors are reluctant to do tats there. That might be why the ankle was more expensive.

The funniest part is I hate for people to touch my feet--they twitch when anyone touches them. They're going to have to, like, clamp my foot down when they do it. XD I was concerned about them hitting the big artery on the ankle, but they said we have seven layers of skin and tattoos only hit about three and a half.

I adore Robot Chicken. I suppose that sketch partially inspired this piece. Seth Green is a genius, though, and I am not a genius. But we do share a birthday, which makes us both Aquarii.

I bought that game a few days ago. XD

Um, maybe the fact that it only takes fifteen minutes to get over a million dollars?

Nah, what I really liked was playing Lucky Day on the stock-market bar. My best friend (who is currently in El Salvador helping the poor, I'm so proud) used to always land on those spaces that stick you with like a hundred kid pegs and then she'd name the pegs and make up funny voices for all of them. It was a scream.

She is awesome. She's been there since two Februarys ago...I think. Something like that--she's on a two-year tour. I can't wait till she comes back with stories and everything she's learned.
