Description I bought a new sketchbook a while back and have decided that it isn't for things I am comfortable with drawing, but for pushing myself further, pushing myself to draw things I don't normally draw. This was challenging as I have not drawn a face such as this before and attempting the serpentine body was also something I was unfamiliar with.

What I think (and know) I could improve on is where the head attaches to the body, that bit bothers me. Otherwise I am very pleased with how this came out
I am unsure as to what kind of creature this is, but I like to think of it as a type of water dwelling dragon.

I would love to know your thoughts on it!
Media: Black Ball Point Pen.

Part of the "Pushing Myself" Sketchbook.

Normally I don't like making compares to existing characters, and don't think many if any are intentional, as anatomy is only capable of making so many shapes...

That said, he reminds me a bit of the Grinch! the head especially.

I like the concept and the line work.

My boyfriend said it looked like the "Beetlejuice worm" from Beetlejuice.

Thank you for your comment
