Color Iron Tail and shade him. It was quite fun but that's not over yet now I should draw Iron Tail myself. I use Paint.net because it is easily to paint and shade it whoops forgot to do the green gradient on the gemProgram: Paint.net

Say, not bad. Color's a little blurry though it may have something to do with me posting the uncolored version with a white base (several people seemed to have problems with that too, and I'm not so sure about your case since I've never used Paint.net), but the picture does show you have some grips on shading/lighting. Keep practicing and you'll definitely improve that grip
